    Now in its 13th year, MDD is an organization that believes the media are central to democracy. Accordingly, our mandate is to:

    Know the Media by engaging in critical, progressive, cross-cultural and intergenerational media education.

    Be the Media by engaging in critical, progressive, cross-cultural and intergenerational media education.

    Change the Media by collaborating with community members to create progressive coalitions and actionable policy goals to reshape the institutional context of communication.
